OUR STORY
The name of the ministry is Northwest Valley Links Players. The model uses golf to get players or even non-players to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. There are Fellowships set up all over the U.S. and we are starting one here in the Northwest Valley. Our mission is to encourage and equip men and women to meet and move others into a relationship with Christ using golf as the vehicle of communication.

We plan on doing this by using the acronym L.I.N.K.S:

Love God and others. (Matthew 22:37-39)

Integrate Christ’s reign and integrity into all of life. (Matthew 6:33)

Network friends together in Christ. (Acts 2:42)

Kindle compassion for the poor and needy. (Matthew 25:40)

Share Christ through the great game of golf. (2 Corinthians 5:20a)

We plan on having golf events on a quarterly basis and weekly Bible studies. These will be both for those having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and those who do not. This ministry is all about a relationship with others who will hold us accountable spiritually, just as we have a relationship with our spouse, best friend, family members or someone you can really talk to when times are tough. There is another friend, Jesus Christ, who can be there with you and for you at any time.

A ministry for kids has also been formed. Again, the main purpose is to provide golf instruction, life mentoring, community outreach and Christian fellowship. The plan is to continue the program with juniors who show an interest in pursing the game more seriously and play in local junior events.
