TOUR STOPS with Jimin Kang
What keeps me passionate about golf is that there is no such thing as dominating the game. The challenge of mastering golf is always before me
and that keeps my passion strong! You can go out and shoot 65 and still there is one more birdie that you could have made.
My challenge both on and off the course is to give it my all in everything I do. Golf and life is not always about winning. For sure, it is my
desire to win each time I tee it up in a tournament, but it is also about giving my best—physically, mentally, spiritually—to whatever I am doing. Each week, I give the tournament my best and
sometimes the challenge is waiting my turn to win. In tournament golf, there are many excellent players each week and anyone can take home the trophy. I guess patience is a challenge both on and off the
course.
Christ has made all the difference in my life. The main thing is His amazing love for us. Think about it. God sent His only Son for us to die on a cross for us. Why? Because He loves us with an unconditional love. He gave everything for us. We might do something amazing for our own child, but He gave His own child for us. I am challenged by His love to love others well. When you experience that kind of love, it changes you. For one thing, I become very thankful for all He has given me and the opportunities I have. I learn to appreciate things more and trust Him in all things. This helps me to see the bigger picture of life!
